The admin can be notified through various options like push notification, voice call, SMS, and WhatsApp messages. The admin can enable any of the options they want to receive the order notification using Order Notifier Extension for Magento 2. Admin will get the notification once any of the customers will place the order successfully.
How To Configure Order Notifier Extension for Magento 2?
- The admin needs to enter the API key to enable any of the notifications.
- To get the API key, the admin has to create an account on a service provider’s website.
- The Order Notifier plugin supports one signal, Twilio, and Vonage/Nexmo. These are the third-party API providers.
- Enter the values once you will get the APP ID and REST API KEY.
How Admin can Configure Order Notification Extension?
- Heading: Set the title of your notification.
- Message: Set the message that you want to receive in the notification. (You can also use variables to see the actual value like to display the customer’s name in the notification message)
Push Notification Configuration of Order Notifier Extension for Magento 2
- If you want to receive a desktop notification you should enable push notification.
- Click on the "Subscribe from push notification" to enable push notification.
- To receive push notifications, you have to integrate one signal. Create an account on one signal.
- One signal is a third-party API that will provide you APP ID and REST API KEY. You will get this from one signal’s dashboard.
Order Notifier Extension’s Voice Call and SMS Notification Configuration
- To enable voice call notification, you need to create an account on Twilio and get the Account SID and Auth Token.
- Loop voice: Set how many times the voice will be repeated in the call.
- Message: Set the content for the voice call. That will be converted from text to speech.
- Voice: You can set the voice of a woman, man, or Alice(Alice supports multiple languages). You can choose any of them.
- Language: You can set the language of a voice call.
- You will get the caller’s phone number from the Twilio console.
The Order Notifier Plugin WhatsApp Notification Configuration
- You will get your customer’s order notification through WhatsApp message by enabling WhatsApp notification.
- Create an account on Nexmo or Vonage to get the third-party API KEY and API secret. You will get these from the Nexmo/Vonage dashboard.
- You will get the sender’s phone no. from Vonage/Nexmo dashboard.
