Sage Pay Direct Payment integrates Magento 2 with Sage Pay to allow accepting secure on-site card payments using the encryption to ensure security.

Overview

Sage Pay is Europe's leading payment service provider powered by Sage group. It's a trusted payment gateway which processes over 4 billion secure payments on a yearly basis. Serving over 50,000 customers. Sage Pay is known as one of the most trusted payment companies in Europe.

Secure payment processing is the vital need of a Magento 2 store and thus, Meetanshi has developed the Sage Pay Direct Payment for Magento 2 to accept secure online payments and build trust among customers. Direct Payments by Sage Pay gives you complete control over the transactional process, from capturing the basic details of the order, to the credit and debit card details on your own website.

To enable secure payment capture in your Magento 2 stores, you require to have a PCI compliance certificate to communicate transactions with the gateway in a secured manner. The customers add products to the cart from the frontend, add card details and pay. Once they click "Place Order", the transaction details are sent to the Sage Pay payment gateway using the encryption method and thus, it ensures the card and payment security.

Capture secure online payments with enhanced customer experience due to the direct payment facility. Take the complete control over the transactions as the card details are taken within the Magento 2 store.

Account & Pricing

To commence using the Sage Pay Form Payment extension, you need to create a FREE online account and enter the details in Magento 2 store configuration section for the API integration. The gateway offers three types of Pricing Plans to choose from, you can select as per your business requirements.

How Does The Extension Work?

To integrate the Sage Pay Direct Payment with Magento 2, the admin enables the extension, sets a custom payment method title, selects to show Sage Pay logo on the checkout page, enables the sandbox mode for testing, enters the vendor name, integration key, and password provided by Sage Pay at the time of registration. He can set one of the payment actions, enables the gift aid to allow customer claim tax exemption and makes other payment method related settings and saves the configuration.

From the frontend, whenever customers add products to cart and select the Sage Pay Direct payment method from the checkout page, they are requested to enter the card details for completing the payment and place order. The Sage Pay payment details can also be viewed in the My Account section. Also, admin can view these details from the order view backend.
