Guest To Customer

Customers aren't always keen to create a new account right before making a purchase or using a web store. Another bitter truth is that the customer will make a single purchase and never come back if the store owners don't interact with them regularly. Magento 2 store owners desire the maximum amount of users to register at their store in order to gather information for the customer database, offer a personalized experience on their next visits, contact customers directly to build a good relationship, and much more.

Meetanshi has developed Guest To Customer for Magento 2 which will make it easy to auto-convert guest users to registered customers after they check out saving a lot of time and effort.  The Guest To Customer extension makes it easy for users to create new accounts.

Offer a personalized experience with the help of the customer data collected using the extension. Also, the registered customers can be offered the ability to save the billing information to avoid data filling for future orders or leave a customer review, etc. This will help to earn trust and build a loyal customer relationship. The extension allows visitors to make a quick purchase without getting into the registration process, which is taken care of by the module!

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin configures the extension to convert the guest to customers, either manually or automatically. The admin can assign customer groups to automatically converted customers. Once converted, the orders are assigned with the same checkout Email to the customers and the customers are notified of the account creation via an Email. From a separate grid in the backend, the admin can manage all the guests, select them and assign them to a customer group in bulk. Once the guests are converted to the customers, all the data is updated to the "Customers" grid.

From the frontend, whenever a customer tries to place an order using the guest checkout, the extension auto converts the guest user to customer or add the details of the guest user in the backend grid for the admin to manually convert him to the customer. After the auto-conversion of the guests to customers, they get an email notification. The extension thus makes it easy for the admin to convert the guest users to the customers. It also saves the customers' time to sign in and fill out the lengthy registration forms manually.
