Overview

Facebook Store Integration extension synchronizes Magento 2 store products with the Facebook shop and facilitates to sell on Facebook.

Overview

Facebook must be your first go-to platform if you are thinking of leveraging social media platforms for the E-commerce business. The below statistics shows why:

  • There are more than 65 million businesses using Facebook Pages and more than six million advertisers actively promoting their business on Facebook - Buffer
  • 2.41 billion monthly active users as of the second quarter of 2019 - Statista

As a Magento 2 store owner, you may not want to miss this business opportunity. And to make it easier, Meetanshi has developed Facebook Store Integration for Magento 2. The module allows synchronizing the Magento 2 store products with the Facebook shop. By doing so, facilitate the visitors to view the product details on Facebook itself and visit the store to the cart where the product is already added. Thus, making the shopping smooth and quick!

Account & Pricing

To commence using this extension, you need to sign up for a FREE Facebook Business account. It doesn't require any additional fees. Refer Facebook Help Page for further details.

How Does The Extension Work?

Configure the module to sync the store products with the Facebook shop. The admin can either manually generate the product CSV using the "Generate Now" button or set a schedule with frequency and start time for the same. While doing so, the admin can choose to remove the out of stock products in product CSV. The admin also has the option to apply catalog rules on the product price.

The admin can set the Google category for the store products using category ID or name based on the Google Product Taxonomy. For a specific product, the admin can enable to display it in the Facebook shop, set its product condition, and the Google product category.

The admin has to use the mass action to bulk update the Facebook product status from the "Products" grid. The Facebook store attributes like Facebook Shop Product, Product Condition, and Google Product Category can be bulk updated.

The admin has to create a new mapping for some of the required Facebook fields with Magento 2 attributes and can do so using the "Add New Mapping" button. The admin can refer to the "Facebook Attribute Mapping" grid for the list of required fields.

To upload the product CSV to Facebook to create a shop, go to Facebook Business Manager > Catalogues. The catalog for your page will be available, and if not, you can create one.  Add products using the "Use Data Feeds" under "Product Data Sources" by uploading the product feed CSV.

Select the upload method, add data feed URL, and set the schedule for automatic file upload. Click "Start Upload" button and you'll see the status of the CSV upload. Once the status is changed to "Done" you can view the product feed.

Now, the visitors can view the store products under the Facebook store, check the product details in a popup. On click of "Checkout on Website" button from the Facebook store, they get redirected to the cart with the product already added to directly checkout and place the order.

The admin can check the details of product CSV logs in a separate backend grid named "Product Feed CSV Log".
