Account & Pricing
To commence using eWay Recurring and Subscriptions extension, you need to create a FREE online account and enter the details in Magento 2 store configuration section for the API integration. Additional fees apply. The gateway offers various types of Pricing Plans to choose from, you can select as per your business requirements.
How Does The Extension Work?
To integrate the eWay's recurring facility with Magento 2, the admin needs to enable the extension, enter the customer ID, username and the password provided by eWAY Payment Gateway at the time of registration. The admin can set the title, set the order status to assign to all new orders placed using this payment method, and select the allowed credit card types. He can also enable the sandbox or live mode, debug functionality if required and select the countries to allow payment facility.
The admin can send Email notifications to the customers at various events such as subscription cancellation, payment failure, credit card expiry and next subscription reminder notification by selecting Email templates and sender for each of the email notifications.
The admin can set multiple subscription types by adding the title, period unit, maximum billing cycles allowed and assign the created subscription types to the Magento 2 store products.
He can enable Product Specific Recurring facility, grant permission to the customers to define the start date of the subscription from the product edit.
From the Product page, customers can select the Subscription Start Date, Subscription Period, the Frequency of the Period and Number of Billing Cycles before adding the products to the shopping cart. On the checkout page, customers can select the eWay recurring payment option and add Credit Card details to place the order. Customers can see all the subscription order related details in their My Account section. They can even edit the saved credit card details.
Security Features:
eWay uses the highest level of PCI-DSS compliance. All communication with eWay is done using SSL encryption, and no confidential cardholder data is ever stored on your own server. A process called Tokenization is used to run transactions with stored payment information. This lets your customers pay with a 'saved' card that's not on your server at all.

- Admin can manage the subscribers and subscription details from the backend under eWay Recurring and Subscriptions --> Manage Subscribers.
- Admin can also delete the subscribers or subscription events from eWay Recurring and Subscriptions --> Manage Subscribers.
