Account & Pricing

To commence using CBK T-Pay for Magento 2, activate T-pay in the CBK mobile app. The T-Pay icon appears on the app homepage. Select the account for the payments, agree with terms & conditions, and use the verification code for SMS verification. Once activated, the merchant has to generate the T-Pay QR code and collect the payments by allowing the customers to scan the code from the checkout page! 

For the KNET payment option via T-pay, activate T-pay in the CBK mobile app. The T-Pay icon appears on the app homepage. Select the account for the payments, agree with terms & conditions, and use the verification code for SMS verification. Once activated, the customers can opt KNET payment option from the checkout page, add the card details in the KNET's hosted payment page and complete the payment.

As the T-Pay payment service is free of cost, the merchants do not need to worry about any pricing plans!

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin has to enable the module from the backend to capture mobile money payments. The admin can set the custom title, display CBK logo, and enable the sandbox mode if required. The admin can integrate CBK T-Pay with Magento 2 store using the details obtained while registration with the payment gateway such as Client ID, Client Secret, Encrypted Key, and the Gateway URL. The admin can also set payment language, enable auto invoice, and select the countries to allow using the payment method.

When the customers select CBK payment method at the checkout and click "Place Order", they are redirected to the CBK's hosted payment page.

Here, the customers have to select either KNET or CBK T-Pay QR payment option.

On selecting the CBK KNET payment option, the customer has to enter the card details on CBK KNET hosted payment page, and confirm these details to place the order.

On selecting the CBK T-Pay payment option, the customers have to scan the QR code in the CBK mobile app under T-Pay service to complete the payments.

The customers can check their CBK KNET or CBK T-Pay payment details under "My Account" section.

The admin can check the customers' payment details for both these payment options in sales order view section in the backend.

Security Features:

Using the CBK payment method, whenever customers add products to cart and proceed to checkout. On selection of CBK T-Pay option, they get redirected to the hosted payment gateway page. The customers have to scan the QR code from the CBK mobile app and complete the payment to place the order. 

Similarly, for CBK KNET payment option, the card details are entered in the hosted payment page. These details are not entered or stored in Magento 2 environment for security purpose.

The whole payment process is hosted by the CBK T-Pay Payment Gateway, and customers' card details are neither entered nor stored on the Magento 2 server and thus it ensures a secure payment process. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.
