There is no exaggeration that good customer experience is where the money's at! Keeping customer convenience in mind for Magento 2 stores, Meetanshi has developed Cancel Order for Magento 2 extension that facilitates customers to cancel the orders from the frontend!

When a customer is willing to cancel an order, surely it is negative, but the store has a chance to save the customer from frustration by offering an easy order cancellation process. This might be the last chance to improve and hope for customer retention in the future! Hence, the extension allows customers to cancel the order within a few clicks in the frontend.

With Cancel Order for Magento 2, not only allow customers to easily cancel the order but also helps the admin to get the insightful data of the reasons for cancellation. It helps in improving the product or service, benefiting the store!

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin enables the extension, enters the custom text for the cancel order button and for the order cancellation confirmation popup. The admin sets the Email ID, sender and template to receive an Email notification for the order cancellation.

From the frontend, the customers can use the "Cancel Order" button to cancel the pending orders from "My Account". On clicking the cancel order button, the confirmation popup is displayed where customers can add the comments and cancel the order. The order cancellation success message is displayed.

After the successful order cancellation, the order status is updated to "Canceled" in the backend. The admin receives the order cancellation notification Email having the customer and order details.
