How Does The Extension Work?
To integrate the Alipay Payment Gateway with Magento 2, the admin needs to enable the extension, enter the partner ID and the secret key provided by Alipay at the time of registration. Add any additional information required for the payment method from the backend itself. Moreover, admin can enable the sandbox mode from the backend configuration as per the need.
Whenever customers add products to cart and proceed to pay through the Alipay payment method, they get redirected to Alipay Payment Gateway to log in, add payment details and complete payment.
The customer can also check the payment details in the "My Account" section. Similarly, the admin can check the payment details in the Order View backend. Moreover, the order email sent to the customers contains the Alipay payment details.
