How Does The Extension Work?
The extension allows for integrating Magento 2 store with the Alipay Hong Kong payment method. The admin can set the title for the payment method, display the payment method logo, and use the sandbox mode for testing purposes. The admin can use the partner ID and partner secret key obtained while registration with Alipay HK to integrate the payment gateway with Magento 2 store. Moreover, the admin can allow auto invoice for Alipay HK orders, select the countries to allow using the payment method, and add custom information to be displayed at the checkout.
At the checkout page, on selecting the Alipay HK payment method, a QR code is to be scanned for proceeding with the payments.
In the Alipay HK app, the "Pay Now" button is clicked to confirm and pay.
The user is redirected to the order success page after the payment is successful.
The Alipay payment transaction success details are shown in the app and the "My Account" section to the customers.
The admin can check the payment details from the order view section in the backend.
For Alipay Hong Kong payment from mobile, the customers can log in with the Alipay HK account credentials and use the buyer login details and the payment password to proceed with the payments. Once the customers click the confirmation for payment, the payment success is displayed and the order success after payment is displayed on the mobile.
Security Features:
Using the Alipay Hong Kong payment method, whenever customers add products to cart and proceed to checkout, they get redirected to the hosted payment gateway page to enter card details and complete the payment to place the order. The whole payment process is hosted by the Alipay Hk Payment Gateway, and customers' card details are neither entered into nor stored on the Magento 2 server and thus, it ensures a secure payment process. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.
