Important note about accounts & pricing:
KNET doesn't provide direct service to merchants and thus, to commence using the extension in Magento, you need to signup for FREE with any of the member banks. Additional fees may apply which can vary from bank to bank.
Registration with KNET Payment Gateway
Merchants have to sign up and go through a certification process which usually takes the maximum of 2 weeks of testing. Apart from this, merchants have to obtain the digital certificate from the authority to integrate online payment in the store. After the completion of both the certification process, KNET gateway sends the result to the acquiring bank along with the date from which merchants can start using KNET payment gateway on their online stores.
Minimum Technical Requirements to integrate KNET Payment Gateway
Secured Web/Application Server
The merchants have to get authorized certificate to get the permission of E-commerce transactions in their Magento stores.
Merchants must have a valid SSL certificate to integrate the payment gateway in Magento store. Here is the list of the valid SSL certificate issuers for KNET to accept the transactions:
KNET payment gateway only accepts https communication between the merchant's store and gateway using port 443. This is required because merchant's server sends authorization details like password and thus, security is must for the communication.
Alias and Resource File for the Payment Initialization
KNET Payment for Magento extension has the alias name, merchant’s resource file and a class file. Here, the path to the alias and resource file should be specified and the name of the class file e24PaymentPipe.inc.php should be included on the payment initialization page.
How does the KNET Payments extension for Magento work?
To accept payments with KNET payment extension, you need to register with KNET Payment Gateway and get certified to receive the login details. Once logged in to Magento Admin panel, enter the title of the payment method, alias provided by the gateway during registration and set the language of the registration. Following these steps, the extension is all set to capture online payments.
