How Does The Extension Work?

The admin needs to enable the extension and enter the admin mobile number, which will be used for sending WhatsApp notifications from Magento 2 store. The admin can connect the Twilio account by entering Twilio SID, Token, and Number, or enter CURL for other API providers. The admin can test the WhatsApp API by entering a mobile number and a test message.

The admin can enable required notifications for customers, set the button text color & background color, and personalize the message by using variables such as first name, last name, order id, store name, etc. The admin can also enable WhatsApp OTP verifications for customer registration, order placement, and mobile number update and choose the OTP length.

Similarly, the admin can also choose to receive various WhatsApp notifications on their mobile number and configure similar settings for individual events. The admin can also configure the extension to auto-send review reminder notifications to customers after a specified number of days from the order placement. The admin can choose to show the country flag on the mobile number field and enable the functionality for only specific countries.

Once configured, the customers will be able to verify their mobile number using OTPs through WhatsApp during registration, order placement, and mobile number update. Order notifications will be automatically sent to the customers and admin on various events as per the configuration in the backend.

The admin can find a log of all the notifications sent through the WhatsApp order notification from a separate grid in the backend.
