How Does The Extension Work?
The admin can enable the module to charge shipping rates based on the customer groups. The admin can set the title and method name for the shipping method, set the default shipping cost to charge when a customer group is not assigned any rate, choose how to calculate the shipping rates, i.e., per item or per order, set shipping rate to charge per customer group, select countries to allow using the shipping method, and enable/disable the option to show method even if it is not applicable.
Once configured, the not logged in customer can see the shipping method and the rate on the cart page, and logged in customers can see on the checkout page and cart page.
Also, their "My Account" section displays the shipping method.
The admin can navigate to the sales order view backend to check the shipping method and rate applied.
