How Does The Extension Work?

Admin Can Configure Question Settings To:

  • Search a question
  • Display ask a question form
  • Allow guests to write questions
  • Auto approve new questions
  • Display nickname field and set it as mandatory

  • Display an answer form

Features

  • The admin can allow users to report an answer as abusive. He will get Email notification when someone reports an answer as abusive. He has to also select the Email sender and template for the same.
  • Similarly, the admin gets an email notification when a new question is submitted. For that, he has to enter the email ID, select Email sender, and template from the backend.
  • The admin sends an email notification to the users when a new answer is posted for their questions and selects the sender and template for that Email. Also, the admin gets an answer submission email notification by adding an email ID and selecting the email sender and template.
  • The backend grid "Manage Product Questions" enlists all the product questions with its details and the facility to edit a question. The admin can add a new question using the "Add New Question" button.
  • The admin adds a new question, set its status, user type, nickname, email, and store view. He also assigns the questions to the products before saving it. 
  • The backend grid "Manage Product Answers" lists all the answers with its details and facility to edit or approve an answer. The admin can add a new answer to a question using the "Add New Answer" button.
  • The admin selects a question for adding the answer.
  • The admin adds a new answer, set its status, user type, nickname, and email, and ticks the checkbox to show the answer as anonymous and certified. The number of likes, dislikes, and abuses are shown here.
  • In the frontend on the product page, the questions and answers assigned to that product are listed with the facility to like, dislike or report the answer as abusive under the "Product FAQ" tab. The user can search for a question and submit questions with their details for approval.
  • The customer can read other answers from the responsive popup and post their answer with their details to the product answer form.
  • The registered customers can view their product questions and their answers with its details in the "My Questions and Answers" tab under the "My Account" section.
  • The backend grid "Product Questions Activity Log" lists all the product question answers related activity with a facility to filter activities by various options.

  • The backend grid "Manage Product Answers" lists all the answers and its details with a facility to edit or approve an answer.
  • The admin can add a new answer to a question using the "Add New Answer" button.
  • The admin can answer a question by selecting a question from the list.
  • The admin can add a new answer, set its status and user type, enter the nickname and email ID to display under the product answer, and tick the anonymous and certified checkbox if required.
  • Check the number of likes, dislikes, and abuses from the backend
  • The frontend displays all the questions and answers assigned to a product under the Product FAQs tab with search functionality and the option to like/dislike or abuse an answer.
  • Allow users to submit their questions for approval with a nickname and email ID.
  • Click on "Read other Answers" to read all the answers in a responsive popup. Also, users can post new answers with their nickname and email ID from this popup.
  • Allow the registered customers to view all the questions asked and answers posted by them in the "My Question and Answers" tab under the "My Account" section.
  • The backend "Product Questions Activity Log" grid lists all the product question answers related activities. Also, the admin can filter the activities by various options.
  • The admin receives an email notification when:
    • A new question is submitted by the user.
    • A new answer is submitted by the user.
    • An answer is reported as abuse.
  • Send an email notification to users when an answer is posted for the question they had submitted.
  • Earn potential customers' trust by showing the real customers' opinion about the products and answers to their queries
  • The user-generated data in the form of product questions boost the SEO efforts
