Paya Payments for Magento 2 improves the customer experience when it comes to payment systems with a widely trusted Paya payment gateway. Additionally, it makes the repeated transactions easier for the customers with the facility to store the credit card details. The custom UI method of payment JS with HTML/CSS/JS solution enables secure and seamless payment process without having to worry about the store being PCI DSS compliant. It allows embedding the Paya fields into their checkout form for capturing the payments. The server requests a Javascript form from Paya and embeds it on the merchant's checkout page. Thus, the merchant can avoid storing the sensitive card data of the customers.
The customer data is not entered or stored in the Magento 2 server. Hence ensures security! The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.

Account & Pricing
To commence using Paya Payments, Create an account in Paya. Integrate Magento 2 store with the payment gateway using the API key details received during the registration. You need to Get a Quote from the Paya gateway for the Pricing Plans.
How Does The Extension Work?
The admin enables the extension to integrate the Paya payment gateway with Magento 2 store. The admin enables debug mode, sets a custom title for the payment method. The admin can enable vault to allow customers to save card details for future use and set a custom vault title to show in the backend. He enables displaying the logo on the frontend, and enable sandbox mode if required. Integrating the payment gateway with Magento 2 is easy using the client ID, client secret, merchant ID and merchant key. The admin selects the payment action and new order status from the dropdown. He selects the credit card types and countries to allow using the payment method. The admin set instructions to show on the checkout page. Also, he sets the minimum and maximum order total to allow using the payment method and saves the configuration.
Once configured, the customer selects Paya payments, enters the credit card details on the checkout, chooses to save the card details for the later use and clicks "Place Order" to successfully place the order.
The customer can view the order details in their "My Account" section and can delete the saved card details from "Stored Payment methods". The customer can use the saved card details to make payment for the orders in the future.
The admin can view the order details in the order view section in the backend. If the vault is enabled and the customer has saved the card details, the admin can place the order from the backend using the saved card.
Security & PCI Compliance:
The extension uses the custom UI method of Payment JS to embed Paya fields into their checkout form for capturing the payments. This allows the server to request a Javascript form from Paya and embed it into the merchant’s checkout page. This method requires merchants to validate their PCI Compliance using SAQ A. Using this method, no customer data is entered or stored in the Magento 2 store but only on the Paya's server.
All payment card information will be filled into an Iframe payment form supplied by Paya. Customers’ card info will be stored and processed by Paya, and Paya will send back a token to the merchant’s server upon completion, this means merchants won’t have to worry about this process.
This integration uses Paya native checkout protocols with the Magento UI option. Magento UI is a more flexible option that allows you to preserve the design of your website while still using Paya’s input fields.
The customers' card details are neither entered into nor stored on Magento 2 server for security. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.
Saved Cards Using Vault
You can enable the option to save customers’ credit cards so their future purchases are more convenient. The card information is tokenized and therefore untraceable. Merchants won’t have to sacrifice security for usability.
