How Does the Extension Work?

The admin can enable the extension to integrate MyUser Payment Gateway with Magento 2 store and start receiving payments through it. He can set a custom title, show or hide the MyUser Payments logo, enable or disable sandbox mode as per his requirement, and integrate the payment gateway with the store by using the Public Key and Private Key received from MyUser Payments.

The admin can also choose to set the new order status between processing and suspected fraud. He can also limit the payment gateway to the customers belonging to only selected countries, enable the debug mode, and set custom instructions. Also, set the minimum and maximum order total to use the MyUser Payment method.

Once the customer chooses to checkout using the MyUser payment method, he is prompted to enter the card details in the iFrame popup. The transaction is completed through the MyUser Payments API and a success message is displayed to the customers.

The customers can find complete details about the payment under the My Account section.

Admin can also find the MyUser Payment details under the order view section in the back-end.

Security and PCI Compliance:

That depends on your server, passwords, business processes, regular security scans, other payment methods, and a lot more. Once the customers add products to the cart and proceed to pay using the MyUser payment method, they are asked to add card details on-site by directly calling the MyUser Payments Direct API and they complete the payment. MyUser Payments Direct API processes the card details and sends the response to the extension regarding the successful or failed payments. Thus, no sensitive card data is stored on the Magento 2 server. Merchants are required to be PCI Data Security Standard compliant before using the MyUser Direct Payments method. Since merchants do not store or process customer payment information, they will be able to handle more customers. The customer data is entered in Magento 2 and hence, the integration of the payment gateway with the Magento 2 store meets the SAQ A-EP level of PCI compliance.
