In order to transparently charge such extra fees in Magento 2 store, Meetanshi has developed Extra Fee for Magento 2 extension to add extra fees on orders for services like gift wrap, insurance fees, quick delivery, payment gateway fees, etc.

For example, a customer may prefer to be on the safer side by availing the insurance service offered additionally with a product or prefer to avail the gift wrap service while ordering an item for their loved ones!

The extension facilitates to transparently charge extra fees to customers for any additional service they avail such as gift wrap, insurance, quick delivery, etc.
The admin can one or multiple extra fees
The admin can configure the title, select the fee type, and add fee amount for each fee from the admin panel
The admin can select the fee type to calculate and apply on the product price:
- Fixed Amount
- Percentage of Product Price
Show custom title for the extra fee on the frontend
The extra fee is shown on the cart page and the fee amount is displayed along with the title set from the backend.

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin can enable the extension to charge an extra fee from the customers for the additional service they avail. The admin can add one or multiple extra fees, enter the title of extra fees, select fee type from fixed amount or percentage of the product price, and add fee amount for each fee.

The extra fee applied is shown on the cart page and checkout page with the fee amount and its title.

The extra fee details are also displayed in customers' My Account under the order view section in the frontend and order email to customers.

The admin can check the extra fee details in the order view section in the backend.
