How Does The Extension Work?
The admin can enable the extension to allow customers to select the delivery date for their orders. He can set the number of order processing days after which the customer can select the delivery date, set delivery unavailability days and time slots for delivery, enable the order arrival comments, set the delivery exception weekdays, date format, and upload the custom calendar icon that is displayed in the frontend for the customers to click and access the delivery selector. The admin can also make it mandatory to select the delivery date and time slots and add the order arrival comments if required.
Once configured, the customer can click on the calendar icon while checking out the products, open the delivery selector, select the delivery date and time slot, and add any comments for the delivery boy if required.
After the order is placed successfully by the customers, the admin can view the delivery date and time slot selected by the customers for each order from the sales orders grid in the backend.
Also, he can view the detailed delivery date information in the order view page in the backend.

- Backend option to disable the holidays, blackout days, etc. from the calendar when the order can't be delivered.

- The field "Enable Order Arrival Comment" when set to "yes" allows the customers to leave a comment with their order for the delivery boy.
- The admin can disable the weekends or any particular weekdays when the order cannot be delivered.
- Backend option to set the date format for display in the store frontend.
- Facilitates uploading a custom calendar icon from the backend to display the calendar for the delivery selection on the checkout page.
- Backend option to make it compulsory for the customers to:
- Choose the delivery date
- Choose the time slots
- Add order arrival comments
- On the checkout page, a customer can choose the delivery date, time slot and add comments in the Magento 2 store.
- The delivery date and time slot columns in the backend grid "Orders" is enabled for the admin to check these data for each order.
- The admin can check the detailed delivery date information in the order view page from the backend.
- Facilitates the order delivery date and time information in the invoice and shipment in the backend.
