How Does The Extension Work?

The admin must enter the secret key, access key, profile ID, and gateway URL to integrate the Cybersource merchant account with Magento 2. The admin needs to enable the extension from the backend, enter a custom title for the payment method, choose to show or hide the payment gateway logo, and enable the sandbox mode if required. The admin needs to allow or disallow the auto-invoicing, select the allowed countries, enter additional information, enable or disable the debug mode, and enter the sort order of the payment method.

Once the extension is configured from the backend, and the customers choose to pay using the Cybersource payment gateway, they are redirected to a secure payment page hosted by the payment gateway where they can enter their card details and complete the payment. On a successful transaction, the customers are redirected to the merchant's website, where they can find the payment details under the My Orders section.

Furthermore, the admin can also find the payment details of the orders paid using the Cybersource payment gateway from the Sales > Orders > Order View in the backend. The admin can also process easy refunds for the orders paid using the payment gateway.
