The Custom Contact Form for Magento 2 allows the frontend user to select the department to which they want to send their inquiries. The department-wise inquiries are collected in the store in each of its respective Email IDs. Such sorted inquiry management makes a smooth and speedy customer service system possible. You can save the time that was spent on categorizing and assigning the inquiries to each departments' support guy! Only with Custom Contact Form for Magento 2.

 

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin enables the extension to configure department-wise contact queries management. From the "Manage Contact Departments" grid, the admin creates a new contact department using the "Add New Department" button. The already created contact departments are saved in this grid with the details like the name of the department, associated Email ID, and its status.

The admin configures the new contact department with the details like its name and the Email IDs (comma separated). The contact department is enabled from here in order to receive the inquiries for that department. The frontend user can use the common contact form to reach out any department, All he has to do is select the department to which his query is to be sent from the dropdown and click the submit button. The "Manage Contact Inquiries" backend grid saves all the submitted inquiries with the details like:

  • Name of the user who submitted the inquiry
  • User's email ID
  • User's inquiry message text
  • The department to which the query is sent

The admin can delete multiple contact inquiries using the delete mass action from this grid. An email is sent to the admin on new contact inquiry submission with the details of the user like name, Email ID, phone number, and the inquiry message. If more than one Email ID is connected with the department, a copy of this email is sent to each ID.

  • Mass action to delete the user inquiries from this grid in the backend
  • A notification email is sent to the admin on a new inquiry submission which includes the name of the user, email ID, phone number, and the inquiry message.
  • If more than one Email ID is associated with the department, a copy of this Email is sent to each of the linked Email IDs.
