On behalf of Mollie and Messagebird, we have developed a plugin that can send various Magento messages by SMS or Whatsapp through the MessageBird platform.

With the MessageBird plugin, it makes it possible to send Magento notification messages that normally are sent by e-mail, through MessageBird and deliver this by a mobile text message instantly to the customer. This has many advantages compared to e-mail, SMS is more personal, faster, and is delivered directly to the customer as a push notification. The text messages that are sent can be used to increase conversion or to improve the brand experience. How nice is it when you receive a message that the order has been received or that the order has actually been sent in combination with the expected delivery date? This gives the right expectation and can save questions on your own customer service.

When you also use Mollie Payments, it is possible to send a payment reminder to the customer in case the payment has not yet been completed, this will certainly increase the conversion.

This plugin is free to use but requires an active Messagebird account.
