Display Attachments On Product Pages

With Product Attachments for Magento 2, you’re able to add unlimited files on each product page to provide customers with more information about the product. There are 2 positions to display the attachments on the product pages: 

• In the product tab. 
• Under Add to Cart button.

Display Attachments On Order View Page & Confirmation Email

Besides product pages, customers can find attachments on the order view page and order confirmation email after they purchase the product. Accessing these attachments, therefore, will be more convenient for customers. 

2 Ways To Upload Files

Product Attachments for Magento 2 gives you the flexibility to add a file in the backend. You can either: 

• Upload a file directly from your computer.
• Or attach file URLs.

Especially, you can use drag and drop to quickly upload the attachments. 

Attach Unlimited Files Of Various Formats

1. Installation Instructions?

2. Can I set the maximum file size that is allowed to upload? 

Yes, you can specify the maximum allowed file size to upload. If an attachment’s size exceeds this max size, it can’t be uploaded. 

Please note that the maximum allowed size for uploaded files depends on your server. If you leave this field empty or enter a number that is greater than the server limitation, then server limitation will be applied. 

3. Can I limit the number of times an attachment can be downloaded?

Yes, you can set a download limit for an attachment to prevent excessive downloads. 

4. Can I show attachments to certain customer groups or on specific store views? 

Yes, of course. 

5. Can I assign an icon to multiple file types? 

Yes, you can. 

6. What if I upload a file whose format hasn’t been assigned to an icon? 

If an uploaded file type hasn’t been assigned to any icon, then it will be displayed with a default icon that we previously set. 

However, you can upload your icon and set it as default to replace ours. 

7. If I attach a file using URLs, will the file be automatically assigned to an icon?

Yes, our extension will automatically detect the file URL and assign it to the relevant icon. If the file URL can’t be detected, it will be assigned to our default icon or the default one you set. 

8. How can I assign an attachment to specific product pages?

When you upload an attachment, you can specify which product pages to display it using conditions.
