1. How to install the extension? 

To install this extension, please refer to Order Attributes for Magento 2 Installation Guide for detailed instructions. It will take you just a few minutes to install our extension.

2.   I want to add specific order attributes to the packing slips and invoices. What should I do? 

 First, make sure to enable attributes to show in the PDF documents:

• Go to Order Attributes → Settings 
• Under Front-end Order Details Page, set Yes for the Include Attributes in PDFs field.

Second, set your desired attributes to include in packing slips and invoices.

• Click on its Display Settings tab.
• Under General Settings, choose Shipment PDF (packing slip) and Invoice PDF.

3. How can I send her an order confirmation email along with the information they have provided in the attribute field?

 You can find the answer in section VI) Include Order Attributes in Emails in Order Attributes for Magento 2 User Guide for detailed instructions. 

4. I want to put several order attributes in a group on the checkout page. Would you please tell me how?

First, choose one checkout position to place these attributes in.

• Go to the Display Settings tab.
• Under Advanced Settings, choose your desired position from the Position on Checkout field.

Second, create a title for the group of these attributes. Then, put it above them.

• Create an order attribute with the Label input type.
• Then, put the title above these attributes by setting its sort order at the smallest number.

5. In what case is the Multiple line input type often used?

You can use this input type when a customer has multiple shipping addresses, emails, or recipients’ names. Each address, email, or recipient’s name has a separate line for customers to fill in.

6. Can I assign an attribute to a specific cart? For example, I’ve planned to clear the old stock for summer items. Customers whose cart has any summer items will apply a 30% discount in the extra field.

7. I don’t know how to place the order attribute field A above B. Would you please show me how?

• Be sure A and B are at the same checkout step. Otherwise, you cannot sort and arrange these two fields on the checkout page.
• The attribute with a smaller number in the Sort Order field will be displayed above. For example, if A’s sort order is set at 1, then B’s must be set more than 1.

 8.  Does this extension require users to put the parent and child attributes in one place? 

No, it doesn’t. Our extension allows users to put these attribute fields in different positions of the checkout process.
