With Login As Customer for Magento 2, this is possible. You can log in to customer accounts quickly without the need to request username and password. In just one click, you will be instantly redirected to My Account page with the full information of a customer. This makes it easy to find and resolve issues related to user account data or make necessary changes to these data on the user’s behalf.
With full access to customer accounts, you are also able to directly assist customers with problems arising when they place orders or check out. Log In To Customer Accounts In One Click
From the backend, admins can log in to a customer’s account from 4 positions:
- Customer grid page
- Customer view pages
- Order grid page
- Order view pages
- Simply click the Login As Customer button to go to "My Account" page with the same access capabilities as the customer.
Track & Record All Login Actions
Any login action will be recorded in a separate Login as Customer Logs section for easy management and tracking. In this section, you can view such data as customer ID, customer email, admin ID, admin name as well as when the login action takes place. It’s also possible to delete any login data from the grid and export them into CSV or Excel XML files for further use.
Limit Login Permission
If your website has multiple sub-admin users, you can restrict login permission so that only specific users are given the ability to:
- Enable/Disable the extension
- Log in to customer accounts
- Access login logs
