Overview

Magewares Full Page Cache Warmer/Crawler feature provides your website with the fastest loading time of all pages at any time of day. This extension, when enabled, makes sure that the full page cache solution on your website is always cached. With this module for Magento 2 , you don't have to worry about clearing your cache and giving your store visitors a slow page loading experience. Store admins can cache all pages again with a click of a button or with the help of regular crons.

This extension uses a special technique and warms each page as if a real visitor is hitting on that page.  One important feature which comes with this extension is that you can actually see on the frontend if the page is cached or not while surfing the website on frontend. This helps store owners to enable their IP's and do a random test on the frontend to see if the pages are cached or missed.

How does it work?

The crawler crawls your e-commerce store in search of uncached pages and newer versions of already cached pages. It also filter out generated URLs by URL type and regular expression. The extension uses multiple crawler threads  and special techniques to reduce the total crawl time, CPU and bandwidth usage.

Magewares Cache Crawler gives you the flexibility and the ability to:

  •     Enable or disable the crawler at any time
  •     Individually warm Cache for Category pages
  •     Indivudually flush Cahe for Category pages
  •     Mass Flush and Warm Cache for selected CMS and Product pages from grid.
  •     Crawl all pages(CMS pages, catalog pages, and product pages)
  •     Filter out certain pages
  •     Add custom URLs in the crawl list
  •     Easily view past crawls, currently running crawls and queued crawls
  •     Add number of threads(URLs) to be crawled simultaneously
  •     Add search pages to the crawl list
  •     Define popularity for the search pages(minimum number of times those pages must have been visited before adding to crawl)
  •     Console command to crawl pages using Magento console, set cron on this command (we do not prefer to use Magento crons as it may delay other crons if crawler runs for long)
  •     Crawl delay can be specified in the configuration between two concurrent jobs
  •     Reports that shows the number of URL's in different http status.
