SecurePay is a trustworthy and highly protected payment gateway that has wildly operated in Australia since 1999. It not only allows your business to validate online payments securely but also gives customers more payment options. With its smart functions, the admin can save a significant amount of time from authorizing payment as well as offer straightforward integration to the client’s account system. In particular, Mageplaza SecurePay extension diversifies payment methods of e-commerce stores by offering three ways for embedding SecurePay to their store site. SecurePay XML API, SecurePay Direct Post, and SecurePay Paypal are all fully developed in this extension to speed the payment process, which can help online merchants convert more sales.

For shoppers, especially those who are in Australia, the benefits of Securepay are significant. Firstly, they are offered to freely choose their favourite payment cards from a wide range of worldwide payment cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, and Bankcard. Secondly, their payment is processed quickly and safely with a high level of security which is known as PCI DSS compliance and ISO 27001 certification.

Security

The Magento server does not store customer data. All payment information is securely transferred directly to SecurePay. The redirecting method comes along with the most popular payment methods in the world, and then customers are switched to the payment method provider's website. In case 3D secure is not available in a payment method (credit cards), API will be used. All information will be pushed to SecurePay without passing through the Magento server.

SecurePay forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL) to comply with PCI.

Customer experience will be significantly enhanced when they are offered to pay via almost common card types in the world, including Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club American Express, JCB, and Bankcard.

Accommodate various payment methods

The payment system is upgraded with three global payment methods which are SecurePay Paypal, SecurePay Direct Post, SecurePay XML. With such the multiple integration types and the various interface, online merchants have big advantages to expand their business to different markets as well as boost their revenue.

High-security guaranty

SecurePay highly ensures the safety of the payment process in the virtual environment. SecurePay is PCI DSS Compliant (comply Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, which is a global security scheme). Moreover, the International Organization for Standardization has awarded Securepay  ISO270001 certification, which is a worldwide information security management standard.

Highlight Features

SecurePay XML API

The SecurePay XML API is for transferring transaction information to SecurePay processing in the next steps. Each message which is delivered to SecurePay contains one operation. This instruction carries the course of building a program within your website or any application to get the XML API integrated and can be wildly applicable to any platform as well as in any programming language.

The POST method can be considered as a bridge which XML message is sent from your server to HTTPS URL at SecurePay and visa versa when the processing is complete. On average, it will take a few seconds for processing each message.

SecurePay Direct Post

Direct Post transmits the client’s card information from their computer to the SecurePay. Therefore, they can easily upload their card information to a form on the website.

Thanks to this convenience, online customers can gain a similar experience as in Magento Default due to the same payment interface. Unlike an API, the data delivery is made straightforwardly from the buyer’s computer to Securepay. When the bank has processed the transaction, Direct Post redirects buyers back to the checkout page and complete their order.

SecurePay Paypal

The availability of SecurePay Paypal in your store will provide excellent motivation for customers, especially who are interested in this method to complete their purchasing without too much hesitation. With this payment, Paypal will act as the transaction gateway while SecurePay will store the client’s data, which helps to process the payment conveniently.

Allowance for all main global payment cards

SecurePay generally accepts the commonly used debit and credit cards. Here are these types of cards:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Diner Club
  • JCB
  • Bankcard

The customer’s preference for payment cards is one of the critical elements for conversion rates. Because of that reason, multiple card types open to customer choice will help both store owners and customers process payment with ease.

Maximum security

Another striking feature of SecurePay extension is that when you install this extension to your store site, it will automatically comply with PCI DSS standards, a global scheme to guard safe customer’s data. This standard is a must for any store accepting credit and debit card payments. Besides, SecurePay also achieved the ISO270001 certification, a worldwide information security management standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization.

The more seriously that you care about customer information, the more trust customer will place in your online enterprise with their transaction. As the hurdle for compliance has been taken away, you can go ahead with your fruitful development.
