Same Order Number for Magento 2 is a necessary tool to help unify billing documents of e-commerce stores.

Other Extensions by Mageplaza

Same Order Number designed by Mageplaza allows admins to create IDs to be the same for billing documents which are: Order, Shipment, Invoice and Credit Memo. In Magento default,  order IDs cause difficulties for not only store owners but also customers to track the orders. Increment IDs of orders, invoices, shipments and credit memos are created based on the generating time. That leads to the difference among all IDs of billing documents. Therefore, it is really essential for an online store to unify all these billing documents.

Same Order Number helps make IDs for Invoices, Shipments and Credit Memos become exactly the same as the ID of the order. An example of how Same Order Number works is that with an order (with order number being 000222578), all billing documents including invoice, shipment and credit memo are numbered the same 000222578.

  • Create the same IDs for related billing documents automatically
  • Add suffix to an ID
  • Ability to show info from the frontend distinctly
  • Highly compatible with Mageplaza PDF Invoice

Highlight Features

Same IDs For Billing Documents

When Same Order Number for Magento 2 is installed, it makes IDs of related billing documents including invoice, shipment, and credit memo precisely the same as the order’s ID.

Add The Duplicate Separator Automatically

In some cases, one order is associated with many invoices, shipment or credit memos. In those situations, a duplicate separator is allowed to be added. For instance, the first invoice example would be #00100, the second #00100-1, the third #00100-2 and so on.

Allow The Same Increment IDs

In the storefront, Same Order Number allows placing the same increment IDs for invoice, shipment and credit memo. That helps not only customers but also online store track commodities with ease.
