Back to topThe gift registry model was popularized by the Western culture and has since made its way to digital iteration. It is a way of communication between gift-givers and gift-receivers. The gift receiver will create a wish list of their wanted items for special occasions, then send the list out to their friends and relatives to encouraging them to purchase these products for them.
With Gift Registry for Magento 2, you can set up events and occasions where your customers can create a list of gifts that they want to get for their special day. They can share it with their friends and family, and wait for them to buy those presents. Everyone who receives the invitation via Facebook, Twitter or email can purchase the items on your store.

Let Customers' Friends Find A Gift Registry
Gift Registry creates a Search page that allows the gift receivers' friends and family to search for the gift registries of their beloved. We also allow customers to set their registry to private, preventing strangers from viewing them even if they can see your gift list in the search result. These private registries will have password protection, and only those who are given the password will be able to see the gift registries. This feature is especially useful for those who want to share their gift onto social media for their friends to see but are worried that others will see it too.
Create Any Type Of Special Gift Occasion
Store owners can create different types of occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Customers can select from and tailor these pre-made events and create gift registries upon them. Gift Registry allows customers to share gift lists with their friends. Our extension supports sharing on the most popular social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and email.
Show Registries in Appealing Layouts
Our new design for registry pages will win the heart of all customers. The new page is divided into 3 tabs:
- Welcome Message: Customers can add text and images to send their unique messages to their guests.
- Gift List: Show all the products with image, name, price, priority, desired quantity. The priority is rated by the registry owner from 1 to 5 stars. The registrants can add these products to the cart directly from the registry page.
- Contact Information: Provide additional information such as event date and time, location (shown in Google Maps), etc.
