If the product doesn't meet their expectations or is damaged, they will get a replacement of that product. Sometimes it is not possible to replace or return the ordered product, even if they are not satisfied with the purchased product in the case of service or virtual products. In such cases, refunding customers helps to maintain customer loyalty and turn your customers into happy returning customers. But in default Magento 2, there is no such option using which your customers can make a refund request.
Refund Request Extension for Magento 2 by MageComp that enables a refund request form in the frontend using which your customers can request for a refund and the admin can process those requests with the backend grid. Using an extension, the admin can set maximum refund days to accept customer refund requests.
Features:
- Backend option to enable or disable the extension.
- The admin can set the number of days to show the "Refund Request" button on the frontend to allow them a request for order refund.
- After the specified day's passed, the "Refund Request" button gets disabled from the customer’s account section.
- Backend option to set email ID on which admin will receive customer refund request emails
- Also, the admin is free to remove the refund requests which are already processed.
- Guest users can also apply for refund using this module.
How it Works:
Enable the extension from the Magento 2 backend. Now, enter your email id on which you want to receive refund requests and set maximum days to accept refund requests from your customers. Moreover, you can also set a custom email template and sender if needed. Now, your Magento 2 store is ready to accept refund requests from your store customer.
