Overview

eCommerce store owners must look for ways to simplify the checkout process for customers in order to improve the shopping experience. At the time of checkout, the customers are asked for details like name, address, and contact number. Making the data input steps quick for users will help them check out faster. In the default Magento, the telephone number field does not display the country flag and country code. The customer has to enter the country code manually. MageComp has come up with an extension to simplify the process of entering the mobile number.

International Telephone Input Extension for Magento 2 will automatically display international fag with dial codes on the telephone number field. The customer can select their desired country from the dropdown list at the time of checkout or shipping. Along with the country flag, it also displays the country code. Hence, the customers just need to enter the telephone number. Based on the country selected, the extension also validates the phone number.

How It Works:

Once the International Telephone Input Extension for Magento 2 is downloaded, the admin can enable the module from the admin dashboard. After that, complete the required configuration settings for setting the country flag automatically based on the customer’s IP address and phone number validation. After that, the international flags and dial codes are displayed on the checkout page and customer address page for the telephone number field.
