Overview

Sometimes the admin needs to understand customers’ demands to provide a personalized shopping experience. In addition to that, the admin can offer special prices for bulk purchases. To fulfill all these requirements of customers, the admin needs to view the shopping cart of customers before they place an order.

With the help of the Email Quote Extension for Magento 2 customers can easily send their shopping cart details to the admin and the admin can create, send and manage quotes from the Magento 2 admin panel. The module adds an Ask for Quote button on the frontend shopping cart page and mini cart. The admin can set the email ID and template to receive quote requests from customers. Once the user requests a quote, the admin can send customized quotation details to customers via email.

How It Works:

Once the Magento 2 store owner downloads the Email Quote Extension, it can be enabled from the admin panel and the admin can perform the required configuration settings for Email ID, Email sender, and email template. Once that is done, the customer can Ask for Quote from the shopping cart or mini cart and fill up the required details. The admin receives the quote details of customers through email and responds easily with a custom quotation.
