OverviewBack to top
Default Magento provides the backend option to enable Cash on Delivery payment options. But this will authorize all the products and categories of the store for COD payments. If the admin has some specific requirement of enabling the COD for only some products and categories, then the default Cash on Delivery will not work. To accomplish that, MageComp has developed an extension for all the Magento merchants to meet their business requirements.
Cash on Delivery Per Product/Category Module for Magento 2 by MageComp will allow the store admin to facilitate customers for the Cash on Delivery payment option only for specific products or categories. The admin has the backend option to allow COD for products or categories. Once the configuration is executed, the customer gets the COD option at the time of checkout for that specific product or category. Providing Cash on Delivery payment option to customers will increase the user experience of your Magento 2 store.
- Authorize certain products for Cash on Delivery payments.
- Allow specific categories for COD form of payments.
- Promote customers to use the Cash on Delivery payment method.
- Admin can manage COD for products and categories easily.
- Customers can easily look for the COD option at the time of checkout time.
- Lift store sales by providing a COD mode of payment.
How It Works:
Once you install the extension to your Magento 2 store, you need to perform the required configuration settings from the backend. Then enable the desired product or category for Cash on Delivery. Once it is done, the customer can take advantage of COD payments for that particular product and category at the time of checkout.
