Back to topAs per the EU's GDPR introduced in May 2018, customers have the right to delete their accounts and their personal details stored on any of the eCommerce online stores. They can ask the admin to delete their accounts whenever they want. To make this simple and easy for customers, MagenAnts has developed Magento 2 Delete Account extension where customers can delete their own accounts permanently without requesting admin.
Once the customers confirm to delete their account, every detail related to them will be deleted from the website permanently. Customers will even receive an email of confirmation on their registered email ID.

Email Templates Configuration
Admin is allowed to enable/disable the extension easily from the back-end admin panel. Also, set an email template and an email sender to send email notifications to the customers.
Delete Account on your Own
Using the “My Account” section from the website, customer can delete their account directly on their own without requesting admin or generating any tickets to delete their account. Even admin also need not delete the customer's account manually from the back end. This will save both effort and time for the admin.
Confirmation Email
On deleting the account, customers will receive a confirmation link on their registered email ID for account deletion. They need to click on the link received and once they click on the link the account will be deleted permanently from the website. On successful account deletion, customers will receive one more confirmation email.
