OverviewBack to top
Standard Magento allows customers to login only via an email, This plugin allows customers to also Login using their Mobile number or Username. With this plugin, The ‘Customer Sign in’ Screen still has two fields, but the label of the first field ‘email’ changes to ‘Email/Username/Mobile’ and store customers can enter ‘email’, or ‘Mobile Number’ or ‘Username‘ to login to their account.
This plugin adds these two fields ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘Username’ to the ‘Create new Customer Account’ page in Frontend and as well as to the backend Magento form ‘Add New Customer’. The plugin also validates for the uniqueness of these two fields ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘Username’ at the customer registration time.
Using this plugin you can provide better customer experience for your ecommerce store as customers can easily remember their mobile numbers than lets say email id, and this is especially true if the customer has multiple email accounts.
Allows store customers to Login in with the ‘Mobile Number’ or ‘Username’, at sign-in page.
The customer can change the ‘Mobile Number’ or ‘Username’ in the My Account Page.
The plugin automatically adds two fields ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘Username’ to Frontend registration form and to the backend customer creation form.
The plugin also validates no uniqueness for 'Username’ or ‘Mobile Number’ fields.
The plugin uses 'require mixin' override authentication popup template so your customizations will in those authentication template files work as it is.
Both ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘Username’ are displayed as columns in the customer gird along with inline edit functionality.
Store configuration provided to disable the plugin for specific stores.
