JaJuMa Customer Registration Reminder & Cleanup is a valuable improvement to your Magento customer account management with Hyvä Themes as well as with Luma frontend that allows you to automatically
- Send a confirmation reminder email to unconfirmed customer accounts (X days after registration)
- Delete unconfirmed customer accounts
(Y days after registration)
With the confirmation reminder email, you get a new touchpoint with potential customers. Reach out to those unconfirmed accounts and turn them in confirmed and active customers.
Don't lose customers anymore just because they forget to confirm their account.
Of course, some customer accounts will remain unconfirmed even after a reminder email. Those might be e. g. accounts with typos in their email or fake customer accounts created by spam customer registration.
With the automatic cleanup function provided by Customer Registration Reminder & Cleanup, you can now get rid of these accounts that otherwise just bloat up your database and may cause wrong reportings and statistics.

Both, the customer reminder email and the customer account cleanup can be run fully automatically, and regularly via configurable cronjob.

For monitoring and tracing the extensions activities, all reminded and all deleted customers will be logged in a log file.
And of course, you can also filter and sort your customer account grid in the backend for customer accounts that have already received a reminder email.

Customer Registration Reminder
Send a reminder email to customer accounts
- that are still unconfirmed X days after the registration
- optionally excluding accounts registered before a certain date
- with a customizable email template
- automatically by a cron job,
- at a configurable time,
- daily, weekly or monthly
For monitoring reminders being sent, a new customer attribute “Reminder Set” is set to “Yes” that can be used as a sort and filter option in the customer grid in the backend to identify those accounts that have received the reminder email.
The email template to be used for the customer registration reminder is customizable.
Cleanup Customer Accounts
Delete customer accounts
- that are still unconfirmed X days after the registration
- automatically by cronjob,

Logging
For monitoring the extensions activities, reminders sent as well as deleted customer accounts are logged in separate log files.
Command Line Interface
Both, the registration reminder email as well as the customer cleanup, can be triggered manually from the command line if needed.
This can also be useful when testing.
