    Does the Dominate Checkout have a Sandbox environment? Yes, Dominate Checkout allows you to configure Sandbox credentials for testing. 

    Does the Dominate Checkout work with other third-party tools? Dominate Checkout does allow third-party tools to render content on the Checkout Page. However, it is compatible with tools that work on the backend like shipping methods, coupons, and promotions.

     Which payment methods are available to configure?  PayPal Commerce Platform. You will enable your customers to pay with:

    • Credit and Debit Cards directly
    • Alternative-Payment Methods that vary per your customer's location (Venmo, PayPal Pay Later and Credit, and many more).
    • PayPal Accounts and Credits.

    Can I use Braintree from PayPal as a payment method?  Yes, Braintree is included in the Dominate Checkout as an independent payment method.

    Do you support Digital goods or free products on the Checkout? Yes, and yes, Dominate Checkout is fully capable of allowing you to bypass the Billing or Shipping information on the Checkout process for the digital items and free items on your store.

    Our Dominate Checkout is a PCI-compliance solution SAQ-A that allows you to accept payment using the PayPal Commerce Platform. Dominate Checkout does not handle or store any information related to credit cards or payments. All the payments are being processed and handled by the PayPal Commerce Platform directly. You can read more about this here. Our Checkout PCI-compliant solution checkout flow:

    1. A customer shops on your site and chooses to pay using their credit, debit card, or PayPal account.
    2. They enter their payment and shipping details directly on the Dominate Checkout page.
    3. They enter their credit card details on your site directly or get redirected to the PayPal payment page if this method is selected. PayPal hosts the payment pages and API calls behind the scenes, so PayPal handles data security on your behalf.

    Dominate Checkout stores information related to your orders for data processing between your Magento store and PayPal Commerce Platform as the extension works as an intermediary for this process. The data that is being exchanged between your Magento store and the Dominate Checkout are listed below:

    • Order Identification number
      • Shopping Cart information
        • Ordered Products
        • Qty of ordered items
        • Subtotals, Grand totals, Taxes & Discounts
      • Customer's Email for easy identifying the order in Dominate Checkout administration section.
      • Payment Order statuses for synchronization purposes between PayPal and Dominate Checkout.
