Overview

XPay is the payment gateway of Nexi, a leading group in Italy with the aim of building the future of digital payments. Nexi starts from a solid positioning on the market, which allows it to manage 44 mln payment cards, transactions for 186 bln Euro, and 860 thousand participating points of sales in Italy, including over 18 thousand e-commerce shops. XPay allows you to accept online payments. It is open to international schemes of payment and it is suitable to handle all sale channels (e-commerce, mobile, email).

XPay’s payment extension for Magento, allows you to integrate the XPay payment gateway without further implementation on your site. It manages the transfer of the customer from the merchant’s e-commerce site to the secure Nexi environment, and back again.

The extension is constantly updated with XPay evolutions and improvements.

Extension Features:

Simple Payment: redirect the customer to the secure payment gateway of Nexi.
OneClick payment: allows the end customer to store their credit card details, and use them later to make purchases with just one click.
Pay-By-Link: allows to send to the customer via e-mail or via social a link that redirects to the payment page.
Transaction management for Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, V-Pay, Maestro, American Express, Diners international schemes.
Acceptance of alternative payment systems ( PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancomat Pay, MyBank, iDeal, Bancontact, GiroPay…).
Easy checkout: simple and intuitive payment interface (XPay payment page with merchant logo).
Test area: allows you to test the correct operation of the module, using test parameters and cards, without having to make real transactions.
Multilingual: Recognizes the language of the merchant's portal, and automatically sets it on the XPay cash page. Available languages .
Accounting Management: possibility of configuring the collection mode, total or partial, immediate or deferred, directly from the module.
Backoffice operations: allows to perform refunds and cancellations directly from the CMS order management without the need to access the XPay back office.
3D Secure 2: adopted by the main international circuits (Visa,MasterCard, American Express), introduces new authentication methods, able to improve and speed up the cardholder's purchase experience.

Features availability is subject to the type of contract signed with Nexi, and the gateway configuration set for the plugin. For additional information we kindly invite you to read the technical documentation available in the developer portal relative to the gateway service you purchased. You can find the link to the developer portal in the welcome mail received at service activation.

Security

The customer remains on the merchant's e-commerce site until the point of checkout, then is redirected to the secure Nexi environment to make payment. You do not have to manage any kind of sensitive data. This method doesn’t requires PCI DSS security certification .

The extension does not save customer data on the Magento server.
