In Switzerland the Swiss Post is in charge for delivering all type of packages. This extension provides the basis of the Swiss Post's Digital Commerce API. It contains the functionalities of auto-completion, address validation and barcode generation. Each functionality can be used independently of each other and creates for the shop owner a flexible integration with the Swiss Post service.

Address Autocompletion
When entering the delivery address in the checkout, auto-completion is offered for the "Street", "City" and "Postal code" fields. For the "Street" field, suggestions are displayed after three characters have been entered; for the "City" and "Postal code" fields, suggestions are displayed after only two characters.
Address Validation
The delivery address in the checkout is validated and the user receives a corresponding message as a result. Also, the result of the validation is saved and can be viewed in the administration area on the respective order.
Barcode Creation
Creating barcodes for packages is possible directly from the Magento administration area. For new shipments, barcodes are created automatically and can then be requested or printed. Additional barcodes can be created manually.
