Back to topUPS Access Point Network proposes merchants deliver products to special UPS points, where customers can pick up packages when it's best for them. Customers can select such points during checkout.
UPS Access Point Navigator allows you to use UPS Access Point delivery in your Magento system. You can create different shipping methods for Access Point delivery and show them in checkout. Shipping method(s) show in checkout together with shipping price and Time-in-Transit. The extension works with standard Magento checkout, or with one of the one-page checkout extensions. If a customer selects one of the Access Point shipping methods, a special UPS popup opens. This popup can contain a map or only a list of the Access Points near the customer's address. The customer can then choose which one they would like to use. The address of this Access Point will substitute the customer's original shipping address in the shipment.
You can create numerous shipping methods. For each shipping method, you can set a static price, or get the price from UPS, UPS service, allowed countries. You can use Negotiated rates. If you enable Time-in-Transit, the number of transit days of delivery for selected UPS service will display. UPS Access Point Navigator based on UPS Locator API.
Account & Pricing
To use UPS Access Point delivery you need to have a regular UPS account and add a special contract with UPS. You also can use a separate UPS account for Access Point shipping. For this special contract or special UPS account, please contact your local UPS office. UPS prices for Access Point delivery depend on many factors. But usually delivery to Access Point is cheaper, than home delivery.
If you want to display Google Map with Access Points in popup, you need to have and enter your own Google Maps API Key.
Main Features
Show Shipping Price In Checkout
- UPS Access Point Navigator allows you to create and show shipping methods for Access Point shipping in checkout - as many methods as you need.
- For each method, you can set a static price or get a price from UPS, add extra price, use Negotiated rates, include Duty and Taxes, Rural extend, and show Time in Transit.
- You can use a separate UPS account for Access Point shipping.
- You also can establish rules for each shipping method: the range of order subtotal, weight, product quantity, ZIP/Postal codes, applicate to all or certain countries.
- For each shipping method, you can disable certain products via special product attributes.
Select An Access Point
When a customer selects one of Access Point shipping methods in the checkout, a special UPS popup with a map opens. Customers can select one of 10 (or more) points around their shipping address. This selected point substitutes ship to address in the shipment.
Shipping Labels Creation
- You can use UPS Access Point Navigator separately only to help customers to select the access point for pick up.
- To create a special Access Point shipping label you have to use Access Point Navigator together with UPS Shipping Manager Pro.
- With our extensions, you can use two different UPS accounts: one for Home delivery, another for Access Point delivery.
