    Ideal Postcodes provides address autocomplete and postcode lookup for your Magento address forms. We specialize in the UK addressing data, drawing the most up-to-date & accurate UK dataset from Royal Mail on a daily basis. We have over 1,000 clients that use our address validation tools to speed up checkout, increase deliverability, and ensure data quality.

    This extension adds address validation including realtime address autocompletion and postcode lookup on your address forms. These tools appear on your checkout and user account pages (for billing and shipping addresses). Our address validation tools speed up the checkout process and ensure that correct addresses are collected, thereby reducing cart abandonment and ensuring deliverability.

     

    Account & Pricing

    A separate account on Ideal Postcodes is required. The account is created outside the extension installation process, via our sign up page. With an account, you can create a test and live keys to trial this extension or take it live. See our guide on account setup on how to get started. Each address search costs 2p - 2.5p + VAT.     • Our tools are hidden for address forms associated with non-UK territories
    • API Key and other configuration scoped by website, store or view
    • Asynchronously performs checks if key is active and usable
      • Checks if your API Key is currently usable before presenting your users with address search fields
      • Allows regular address entry if, for example, your key runs out of balance or accidental misconfiguration
    • Optionally hoists country selection above address fields so users can eliminate UK address search if not applicable
    • Optionally populate company name based on address
    • Optionally populate county field
