Back to topConsider a scenario where a business has launched a new product in a defined quantity for testing purpose and the backorder is also disabled, the business wants that product to be purchased by multiple users in order to receive a range of reviews and they intend not to sell more than a specific quantity of the same SKU to a single user. In this case, Max Order Qty extension for Magento 2 fulfils the requirement. This extension allows business owners to define the maximum quantity that can be purchased by a single logged-in user.
Magento 2 out of the box provides the feature to define the minimum order quantity of a single item, but with Max Order Qty extension for Magento 2, businesses can restrict the maximum order quantity as well. This extension for Magento 2 also checks the orders placed from order history and restricts the user if the new order is going to exceed the maximum allowed quantity of that item. Business owners can set the start date and the end date till this restriction will be activated.

- The business owner can enable and disable the maximum order quantity for each SKU separately
