Overview

Consider that you want a customer to buy an expensive product at a lesser price only if he buys the other expensive one. For that, you must apply some restrictions to the purchase of the products. This extension for Magento 2 has made this task much easier by providing the custom options to create dependencies among the child products of a bundle product. The child products of a bundle product can be made dependent on one another in different ways. Multiple dependencies can be created for a single child product. Different combinations of child products can be created.

List Of Features:

1- This extension for Magento 2 can be enabled/disabled explicitly, I-e: the custom options for the child products of a bundle product can be created only if the extension is enabled.

2- The following are the dependencies that are provided by this extension for Magento 2 for a bundle product’s child products:

  • Enable a child product
  • Disable a child product
  • Show a child product
  • Hide a child product
  • Select a child product
  • Deselect a child product

3- Multiple dependencies can be created for a single child product, I-e: on the selection of a single child product, multiple products can be enabled/ disabled/ shown/ hidden/ selected/ deselected.

4- The dependencies can be created between products of different options of a bundle product.

5- This extension for Magento 2 works for the options of the bundle product having an input type of “Dropbox” and “Checkboxes”

6- For every child product of a bundle product, different dependencies can be created.

List Of Benefits:

1- Using this extension for Magento, the process of creating combinational products can be made easier.

2- You no longer need to write lines of code just to make one child product dependent on another child product of a bundle product.

3- It helps you to save time and effort by just adding the dependencies in a few clicks.

Examples:

1- Consider there is a bundle product of a bedroom set. The child products of the bundle products are the bed, side tables, dressing table, a couch, and a lamp. The company policy is that the user should only be allowed to buy bedside tables if and only if he selects the bed too.

Similarly, the lamp and couch options should only be shown when the bed is selected.

This extension for Magento 2 provides an ability to create dependency between the products in a much lesser time.

2- A jewelry set consists of a necklace, ring, earrings, bracelet, and an anklet.

The requirement is that the customer can buy the whole jewelry set and not the items individually. Hence the all the jewelry pieces should be selected/ added to the cart when a necklace is selected. This too can be achieved easily with the Bundle child product’s dependency for Magento 2.
