Back to topThe Order Editor for Magento 2 helps you modify any of the order data without canceling it because of incorrect or incomplete information. The tool assists you in editing any of the specific order details that may include customers' details, shipping, billing, payment, and cart details. This ensures the accuracy of orders, which prevents purchase returns and complaints.
In addition, you can remove order items or reduce their quantities as per customer requests and your serving capacity. Add order items back to your store inventory upon removal. For any change in order, you can configure to generate new invoices, replace them with the previous, and let the invoicing and shipping memos unaffected.
The shipping charges may vary when changes are made to the shipping details and cart items. You can set them to recalculate after edits to charge fair and legitimate for an order.

Edit Customer Orders Without Canceling
The Magento 2 edit order extension helps you modify customer orders to ensure its accuracy without canceling them and requesting the customers to re-order. Have the authority to edit any of the order data such as:
- Order details e.g. date and status
- User account information
- Billing address
- Shipping address
- Payment and shipping method
- Items ordered
Delete Or Decrease The Number Of Items Ordered
You can edit the number of items in each order. Delete the item completely or decrease its quantity if the customer has ordered them by mistake or changed his or her mind.
Replace Previous Invoices Or Keep Them Both
You can configure the creation of a new invoice when you make changes to the order details. Keeping both, the old and new invoice is also possible with the extension. Select any of these options:
- Delete invoices, shipment, credit memos to create new
- Create New Invoices And Shipments
- Do not touch (No Effect)
Add Items To Stock After Removing From Orders
Set the items to be included back into your product inventory if they are removed while editing any of the orders. This automatically updates the stock levels with the available products.
Recalculate Shipping Cost After Order Edits
Make the shipping costs to recalculate according to the revised items, location, and other details. This considers the calculation of shipping charges, according to the new metrics you have provided in editing.
