Get your store ready for an upcoming event, offers, and giveaways by adding background image and color to varying pages of your store without asking coders. Background images extension for Magento 2 is well equipped to allow quick addition of backgrounds to all or selected pages of your store. You can upload images straight from a computer system or choose backgrounds from the images gallery of your store. 

Create multiple rules for managing customized backgrounds for different categories and CMS pages. You can select catalog items to limit the background changes to particular products. With the schedule feature, you project the background images for a specific period. For example, if you store deals in products relevant to Valentine's Day, you can add purpose-designed images in the background with red color, and show it for a few days of a week around 14 Feb. 

You can personalize different categories with respect to the event or occasion coming ahead. By using various image-styling options of the extension, you can further decorate different web pages. For example, you can select the preferred position, size, attachments, clip, and origin of background images to add a captivating effect on store pages.

Change Background Image Or Color

Personalize your store with image or color to make it ready for an event, occasion, and sales and offers. The extension helps you create rules to add a custom image or color to the background of multiple store pages. For example, you can change background color to red in Valentine's or displaying images of snowflakes at Christmas.   

 

Create Multiple Rules 

The extension allows you to create multiple rules for managing background color and images on different pages of your store. With varying rules, you can assign background images to different products, categories, and CMS pages. Name each rule and define its priority as well. 

 

Choose Gallery Images Or Upload

To made design tweaks for an event or festival, you can upload personalized images to the background or select from the image gallery of your store. Set gallery images as background with a click. 

 

Select Categories & CMS Pages

You can display background images or apply color to selected categories and CMS pages. Create a rule and select them accordingly.

 

Make Changes To Products Pages

To change background color or image of specific product pages, you can select catalog items one by one while creating the rule. Leave the category section empty if you want the changes to take place on particular products only. 

 

Schedule Background Changes

You can enter duration by providing a starting and ending date to display custom images or colors in the background for an event, season. For example, if you choose 21 December and 2 January, the extension will keep on showing the changes for the entire holiday season. 

  

Set Background Image Styling 

The extension has a great deal of options to help you stylize every background image that you add to different pages of your store. Try customizing the image styling with the following options;

  • Choose image position 
  • Use custom image size or a full screen, cover, etc.
  • Attach images as fixed or scroll with the page
  • Specify how to repeat the images in the background
  • Choose the painting area of the background
  • Select Origin to indicate positioning area of the image
