Overview

Improved Configurable Products extension for Magento 2 is a complete solution that enhances configurable functionality, improving customer experience, and increasing conversion rate. The extension covers almost every functional aspect of the configurable products, making it much easier to use. It accomplishes this with three key features.

First of all, product matrix view for Magento 2 configurable products, which can convert the configurable product swatches to a table with all variations at hand. The matrix view is particularly useful for customers making bulk purchases by allowing adding multiple product variations to the cart simultaneously.

Second, dynamic updates of the Magento 2 product and category pages. The page URL, product name, description, SKU and price blocks are automatically updated according to the customer’s choices. All the above is also true for the category pages.

Third, customizable options for Magento 2configurable products. Every configurable product variation can now have a unique set of additional options which customers can choose. Whenever customer selects a configurable product variation the proper set of options is displayed.

What You Get:

  • Increase conversion by precisely targeting promotion campaigns with unique variation URLs.
  • Increase customers’ loyalty by offering a complete set of user experience enhancements.
  • Increase average order value with the product matrix view by offering bulk purchases.
  • Improved SEO with Schema.org integration. You get enhanced SERP with proper product variation description.
  • Improved store usability with the possibility to add configurable products inside bundles - allowing for more distribution options.

Extension Features:

Flexible Product Page Settings

Control which elements of the product page you want updated and where these elements should be displayed at your store theme.

Price Block Variations

Decide how you want the product price displayed. Some may prefer a price range; other will take advantage of the lowest price.

Custom Shipping Message

Display custom message to customers visiting the page in a set date interval. This can be a custom shipping message or a promotion.

Schema.org Integration

Enhance SERP by installing the extension. Improved Configurable Products extension automatically handles all necessary meta.

Default Product Variation

Select a variation that should be selected by default. Save customers’ time and promote particular product variation.

Works With Full Page Cache & Varnish

Update product pages even while using caching software. The product attributes will be updated automatically even with the caching software running.

Three Custom Blocks

Display other relevant product attributes which you couldn’t otherwise. The extension allows you to display up to three additional attributes on the product pages.

Tier & Group Price Support

Let customers know about the bulk discounts. The discounts for the number of items purchased can be displayed right at the product page.

Configurable Products Inside Bundles

Customers can now shop configurable products with their great variations from the bundle product pages. Variations of multiple configurable products can be added to the cart simultaneously.

Full Feature List:

  • Custom options for Magento 2 configurable products
  • Product matrix grid for Magento 2 configurable products
  • Dynamic content updates for Magento 2 category pages

  • Works with FPC and Varnish
  • Native color swatches support
  • Reduced number of add to cart steps
  • Three custom product attributes at the product page

Use Cases:

Why update Magento 2 Product Attributes

More than a half of the Magento 2 store’s success comes from the loyalty of your customers. And the loyalty is something you strive for. What affects the experience the most is how much information about the product or service is available.

With the help of dynamically updated product attributes customers get all the necessary information about any product variation of their liking. Different product variations may come of different material or even manufacturer.

How To Use Default Product Variation

Consider this. For the category pages, you can display whatever product variation you find will be the most in demand. Or the product variation you have loads of left in the warehouse. Just to make sure it gets sold out. Make the default product a deal breaker.

Why Use Product Matrix View

If you are a supplier, and the merchants are buying from you. The extension will eliminate the step of choosing the configurable product attribute, and will allow customers to add more than a single product variation to the cart.

By enabling matrix view, you let your customers decide how many shirts of size S of different colors they want. For each color customer specifies the number of items to be added to the cart. Then, selects another size and once again goes for every color.
