Please Note: This extension was not created by YRC Carriers. Ecomplugins have built this extension to facilitate a quick Freight API integration with YRC Carriers.   

 

YRC Freight Carrier is the leading transporter of industrial, commercial, and retail goods, specializing in solutions for businesses across North America through a full-service network, advanced information technologies and proactive customer service.  

This extension will calculate YRC Freight Carrier Shipping Rates. Shipping rates will be displayed at checkout and the shopping cart page. Rates will be based on merchant warehouse address, customer destination address and shopping cart weight. You should check all screenshots to understanding the flow of extension. 

The website admin will have an option to select multiple shipping options to enable and disable. For example Standard services, Guaranteed Services etc.  The admin can enable and disable liftgate service, inside delivery options. Admin can also enable  quote based on customer shipping address type if Residential or Commercial. Admin can also add shipping markup price with shipping quotes. 

 

Account & Pricing 

You need to signup for a free YRC  services account to use that extension.  After signup you will get username and password for API access which you need to configure Magento admin panel module settings.

YRC Carriers API calling will be free. You have to pay only for shipment which you will create for customers to ship any package to their address. 

 

Features:

  • You can set service class to show standard rate or select to show all methods.
  • You can enable and disable liftgate service, notify delivery and residential options.
  • You can add minimum weight in settings to show carriers rates.
  • You can set product level shipping class which will override global settings.
  • You can add extra price in shipping cost based on order total.
  • You can show custom error message to customer if echo shipping not able to calculate shipping rates.
