DHL Express Rates At Checkout

by DHL
This is an Integration with a Third Party Service. Other charges and fees may be required to use this extension on your Store

DHL Express is the world leader in international express shipping. With over four decades of experience and an unparalleled global network, we ship over 300 million packages each year. This extension is available for DHL Express business customers operating in 220 countries and territories worldwide. EXCELLENCE. SIMPLY DELIVERED.

This DHL Express Rates At Checkout extension allows you to display real-time shipping quotes to your customers based on their cart details and shipping address. For those using Magento 2.2 or higher, the checkout screen can also be configured to display the estimated delivery date. Also note, this extension only displays rates and estimated delivery date (Magento 2.2 and higher). It doesn’t produce shipping labels, schedule courier pickups, or integrate tracking data to your store. Please use your current processes to book your shipments with DHL Express or discuss available options with your account representative.

Account & Pricing

You must ensure you have a DHL Express business account. If you don't have an account or your account is with another DHL division, please contact DHL Express to apply for an account.

Please note that the DHL Express business account is not generated by this extension. Additionally, please confirm that your DHL Express business account has been granted API Access. If you didn’t discuss this with your account representative when you set up your account, please consult them to enable your API access. No additional fees apply.

  • Display your business account rates
  • Apply a markup of your choosing
  • Configure an order cut-off time and pickup time
  • Display estimated delivery date

Rates Displayed On Checkout Screen

After you download and install the extension, just add your DHL account information and API credentials. From there, you can set your Shipping Preferences - including the Express products you want to offer, default packaging weight, and insurance preferences.

Delivery Date Displayed On Checkout Screen

Magento 2.2 or higher merchants also have the option to display estimated delivery times with the cost options at the checkout. Using DHL Express’ estimated transit times and the details you add about your pickup/drop-off timing, the extension will calculate an estimated delivery date to display.

Add Shipping Markup Or Free Shipping

We know that sometimes you want even more control over the shipping prices displayed to your customers, so we have added the ability to include a markup. You can markup domestic and international shipping; these markups will be displayed as part of the price and not a separate line item.

Our extension also allows you to offer one of your DHL Express product options as your Free Shipping option. This customization allows you to set the cart value threshold after which your customer receives free shipping. It also allows you to choose the DHL product you want to set as the free shipping product and select whether or not you want to include virtual products (if you offer them) in the threshold value calculation. This can also be set on both domestic and international orders.
