When you enter a supermarket, there is usually a helpful attendant to answer your queries and guide you to the appropriate aisle. When a prospective customer arrives on your website, it is as if they are walking around in your store. The FAQ page is the virtual equivalent of the attendant in the online world and should be as user friendly for the person navigating the site.
FAQ Manager allows store owners to manage questions and answers in a prominent way.
After installing this extension, a footer menu item labelled 'FAQ' will be added. You can view the questions through this link. Admin can also create the categories and manage the questions under each category. In the frontend, customers can see the frequently asked questions and answers for each category. If the customer didn’t find the question, he/she can ask the new questions right away. Once the admin answers their questions and it is approved, then it will be visible on the frontend.
Admin can also add the FAQ module in any CMS/Static blocks using the widget option.

To configure the extension, navigate to Products > FAQ's Manager > Settings from the left menu
To manage all questions and answers, navigate to PRODUCTS > FAQ's Manager > Manage FAQ's from the left menu. Questions and Answers that you want to display on your website can be added here.
Category Manager allows you to group the questions and answers based on specific categories. To manage the categories, navigate to PRODUCTS > FAQ's Manager > Manage Categories from the top menu.
How Can an User Ask Questions ?
If the extension is enabled, a link to the Frequently Asked Questions page will be displayed. To ask a new question, click on “Ask New Question” and select the relevant category. Captcha is available to ensure spam control while asking questions. Once a new question is submitted, a notification is sent to site admin for approval.
Answering the Questions Asked by Users
We can view all the questions added by Users / Customers in the FAQ's Manager grid by filtering Guest / Admin column. There is also an option to edit all the information about a particular question.
You can also easily filter the questions / categories for the particular store using the Store View column in the grid. Once you fill the Answer field, change the status to enabled and save it to display in the frontend of your store.
You can also add a Frequently Asked Questions block anywhere in the website. The module allows you to add our FAQ widget anywhere in the store whether it be CMS or static block. Using this widget, you can add the FAQ in custom pages also.
