Maximum Order Quantity per Product

Almost all store owners have been looking for the most efficient way to manage the inventory better. Aside from the usual methods of better tracking the stock, such as inventory cycle counting, and Just In Time (JIT) inventory management, limiting order quantity from the Magento admin is also the most common method.

Our extension - Magento 2 Maximum Order Quantity per Product - allows you to limit the number of products your customers can purchase in a calendar month. Hence, you can make better inventory planning and avoid sending order rejection emails to customers.

Set a maximum monthly product order quantity

You can use this extension to limit the maximum quantity of each product that clients can purchase in a calendar month.

As a result, you can quickly manage inventory and avoid sending order rejection emails to consumers when you do not have enough stock.

Two levels of configuration: general config and product page

You can set a global restriction for all items for this functionality. However, you also can adjust it on each product detail page.

The configuration in the product page has a higher priority than a general one.

Because we have two configuration levels, the product page takes precedence over the general configuration.

Adjust the limit automatically when the configuration or order status changes

With Magento 2 Maximum Order Quantity per Product extension, there are 2 cases where the limit can be customized automatically:

  • When switching between the General and Product scopes
  • When an order is canceled or refunded

Other features:

  • Limit the total number of each product in order (the monthly limit)
  • Set restrictions depending on calendar months, such that the limit is auto-reset upon new months.
  • Work well with Back Order and Minimum/Maximum Qty Allowed in Shopping Cart

Support Sales and Marketing campaigns

Limit order amount for each product ensures your product is available for purchase to as many shoppers as possible. Thus, your sales campaign will be lengthened, bringing more customers to your website and increasing your brand's awareness.

Get rid of backorder & pre-order issues

To avoid the situation that customers pre-order with an overwhelming quantity of products, exceeding the store owner's ability to supply goods, Maximum Order Quantity per Product extension supports limiting the maximum amount for out-of-stock products.

Improve inventory management with monthly projected sales

You can set the limit quantity per month that meets the requirements of monthly sales projects. That also avoids out-of-stock issues and brings a better shopping experience for customers.
