Normally, with Magento default, customers check out and place orders without any advanced information about the delivery date, which might put them in a passive state of receiving orders on an unexpected date. That is obviously inconvenient for both customers and store owners. To solve the above mentioned issue, BSSCommerce has developed Order Delivery Date for Magento 2 which provides various delivery date options for customers to choose. When online buyers check out, they can choose a specific date, choose time slots, and leave comments for order delivery as they want. The admin has total control of the Delivery Date of orders and has the ability to edit it. That totally makes the agreement of delivery between buyers and shop owners as clear as possible, and absolutely improves your customer service.

For Customers:

  • Easily select most suitable delivery date to receive their orders

Customers can pick a day as the expected delivery date among available ones in a given calendar.

  • Freely choose specific point of time to receive items

Beside the expected delivery day, customers can also let the shop owner know on which time slots he wants to receive the goods.

  • Leave Delivery Comments for further needs

There is a Delivery Comments box where customers can leave any additional requirements or information about their delivery.

  • Support to choose delivery date when customers checkout with PayPal or Braintree

Online buyers can easily choose Delivery Date, Shipping Method and leave Shipping Comments for their orders on Review Order page when checking out with PayPal or Braintree.

For Admin:

  • Configure flexible timing options

In the backend, admin can easily change the setting of timing options. For example, by filling in Processing Time, admin can decide the minimum number of days between the point customers place the order and the point the order is delivered. Besides, admin can set Cut-off Time when all the orders placed after that point would be counted as the next day. In addition, store owners can disable some specific days for delivery at Exclude Days or configure particular days in each week that are not available for delivery. Furthermore, admin can adjust Time Slots of delivery date for customers to choose and select date format as wish at Date Fields.

  • Display Delivery Date as an extra information of order to manage

The module can show the Delivery Date column in Order grid view in the backend. In addition, by displaying Delivery Date as an extra information under the tabs of Order, Invoice, Shipment and Credit Memos in particular order view page, store owners can manage all information of orders from the backend at ease.

  • Enable to edit Delivery Date from the admin dashboard

Normally, Delivery Date will be fixed, however, with our extension, admin can totally control it. Admin can edit Delivery Date with Edit button as wish

  • Add Delivery information to order confirmation emails

With Order Delivery Date for Magento 2, admin can add Delivery Date, Delivery Time Slots and Shipment Arrival Comments to order confirmation emails.

  • Make delivery information as clear as possible for both buyers and store owners

In the default Magento 2, when customers check out, they do not know when their orders will be shipped until receiving order confirmation emails, which can lead to the situation where these items are delivered on unexpected days. Meanwhile, with Order Delivery Date for Magento 2, every information of delivery will be clearer than ever when buyers can quickly choose a suitable delivery date. This is absolutely convenient and helps customers arrange their time to get ordered items.

  • Help admin easily specify timing issues of delivery

Order Delivery Date for Magento 2 brings more details to delivery agreement between buyers and store owners, especially in timing issues. However, those useful details are not coming along with complicated configuration for admin. All you need to do is just enabling the module and setting up timing information such as specific delivery days, time slots and so on. Immediately, all unavailable delivery options will be eliminated from checkout process in the frontend.

  • Bring better services to your customers and accelerate your business operation.

By installing Order Delivery Date extension for Magento 2 to your site, your shipping services will work more effectively, which leverages customer satisfaction. When your online store gains reputation in perfect delivery service, your profits will obviously rise.
