Enable an additional B2B registration form
As its name suggests, B2B Registration for Magento 2 extension has built a new sign-up form for B2B customers. Accordingly, there are additional informative fields to verify the registration. For example, the Tax/VAT number is reliable to determine whether the B2B business is indeed legal. The admin can change the title of the form and decide which field is required or optional.
Show shortcut of registration form in top menu
To bring convenience to customers, the admin can display the B2B registration shortcut next to or in place of the default “Create an Account” in the top menu. Hence, users can choose to register as general or B2B customers as wished. Both the shortcut link text and URL key are adjustable. The admin can copy the URL to paste in advertising, popup, and elsewhere.
Give the admin time to manage the registrations
All B2B registrations are recorded in the Customer grid so that the admin can preview and update the status of these accounts easily. Mass action is supported. The approved B2B accounts will immediately be assigned to a defined group, for example, Wholesale. Otherwise, the admin can go to individual Customer Edit Pages to choose a group and change the status.
Approve new B2B registrations automatically
In case the admin is away on holiday or does not have time to manage every single registration, he or she can enable the 'Auto Approve Account' feature. The surprising advance here is, the admin can check and adjust the account status later.
Notify users via emails & frontend messages
If the Auto Approve Accounts feature is disabled, a pending message will be shown when users complete their B2B registration. After the admin changes the account status, an approval/disapproval email will be sent to the user’s email. An error message will also be displayed when the user tries to log into their disapproved account in the storefront.
